Who is the event suitable for?
Anyone can enter, regardless of your running experience or ability.
Even within the solo category you are able to stop and restart as often as you wish and take breaks when needed.
The only limitation is we have a minimum age of 16 (based on age at 31/12/2019).
How does the Pairs and Teams work?
Pairs and Teams (small & large) are run in a relay format, so there will only be one person on the course at any time.
There will be a designated handover area within the arena where you can pass the baton on to your team mate.
What is the minimum age to enter?
For solo & pairs, participants must be at least 18 on 31/12/2019. For all teams, the minimum age is 16 (on 31/12/2019) which means that depending on the birthday, some 15 year olds will be able to take part.
What happens during the night?
It gets dark, but the race continues!
All runners will be required to carry a head torch on all laps that start after 8pm. It does not have to be switched on until you feel you need it however. The course will be marked with arrows and also reflective tape which will be clearly visible during the darkness.
Total darkness is expected to be from approximately 10pm to 4am and twilight an extra hour each side.
How powerful does the head light need to be for the night laps?
While this is personal preference to an extent, please do not turn up with a tiny head torch! We strongly recommend you bring a light that gives enough light for you to run safely in complete darkness. With the exception of parts of the arena, there will be no additional lighting on course.

Can friends & family come?
Yes, although entry to Pembrey Country Park is only included for the entrant and anyone sharing the vehicle. Camping is designated as "per pitch" so anyone sharing your camp pitch can stay on site.
Any extra vehicles will need to pay the park entry fee of £5.
Are generators allowed?
No, sorry.
If you need to re-charge your lights then we will have on-site charging available from Exposure Lights.
What facilities are available for solo runners?
Solo runners will have access to track-side pit support areas, giving the easiest possible option for your support crew.
If we do not have final details of a full team, can we still enter?
Yes, it is possible for a team captain to enter a team even if you do not know the confirmed runners details.
All entries can be modified with names changed up until 2 weeks prior to the event at no cost.

No fees will apply unless you wish to move to a different category, e.g. from Small Team (3-5 people) to Large Team (6-8 people).
What food will be available on site?
A range of catering companies will be onsite, including coffee, bar, stone-baked pizza and also jackets and burgers. Hopefully something for everyone, including all dietary requirements.
What camping facilities will be available?
We will provide showers & portable toilets and also have fresh water available.
If you have a caravan/motorhome and you wish to have an electrical hookup then it is possible to book via the Pembrey Country Park website. The official campsite is approximately 400 metres from the event arena.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, provided you keep your dog under control and clean up after it then dogs are welcome within Pembrey Country Park and there are miles of trails to walk on as well as the stunning Cefn Sidan Beach, just 800 metres from the event arena.
Can we camp trackside?
Solo runners will have priority for trackside camping, but the main camping & parking area is all within 100m or less of the change over area.
